Small disclaimer: we are not kitsuke experts. We know a little about kimono wearing and a good friend of ours takes lessons and gives us pointers. The kimonos w e make are fairly accurate but we took some liberties as they are for dolls and again, we're not experts so bear with us please!





Kimono parts:
     haneri: the inner collar that is usually attached to the juban (inner kimono)
     kimono: the main part of the outfit
     koshi-himo: the ties that go around the kimono to hold it in place
     obi: belt and bow
     obiage: strip of decorative fabric that tucks into the top of the obi
     obijime: decoriatve ties that go around the obi
